Normally I'm a pretty positive person...I mean come on, I survived the death of a child and the bone marrow transplant of another within nine months of each other and did it on limited anti-depressants. That's pretty good, right? But things are bugging me today and here they are in no particular order...
1. Husbands who can't find their wallets. I'm guilty of not finding things either, but come on! Leave it in the back pants pocket and you never have to worry about where it is, or better yet, just put it on top of the piano when you walk in. Love you, babe.
2. People who don't immunize their children. Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, don't tell me, the mother of two children who were born without immune systems, that you don't immunize and then wonder why I won't come and see you. My daughter almost died of chicken pox. Don't even think to tell me that polio, measles, and mumps don't exist any more. They do you moron, but children weren't getting sick because they're immunized. Why do think there have been so many outbreaks lately. You suck.
3. When talking about your husband, please don't refer to him as your "lover". That is so gross. I'm not quite sure why...to me it's a word that ranks up there with penetration and penis. Just words I don't particularly enjoy hearing.
4. Doctors who won't see you if you haven't been seen in over a year. Look you jerk, it's not my fault I don't get sick. My ears are about to explode and my throat feels like I'm swallowing glass. Just let me come in and get some meds!
That's about all I can come up with at the moment. Strange thing is, I'm not even PMSing so I don't know where this is coming from but I needed to get it out. Feel free to post your own annoyances here...even if it's you're annoyed with people's random list of annoyances. All are welcome.

Sorry 'bout that whole "wallet" thing. I think Tania found it this morning, squrreled it away somewhere (under the sink?), then waited for me to leave to start playing with it.
Hope you get feeling better.
Lover.
I am sorry you are having a bad day. ((HUGS))
My husband has the worst habit of taking my keys and not putting them back on their hook, then when I need them I can't find them. Grrrr!
I dislike people that don't immunize too. My niece has CF and when a simple cold goes around and she gets it her daily treatments can increase to an hour.
Adding a horrible word to your list.... Moist. Yuck!
:)
Ew! That is a gross word! Yucky.
This is to funny. I would have to agree with everything you posted. My husband should have his wallet velcroed to his butt. The word I hate... hump, humpping etc. MaryBeth you rock.
Ok, what is up with number 4? You need a new doctor...badly.
I must confess that I spread out my kids vaccines. I still think they are important, so we get to all of them. We just take our time. I hate the thought of them getting 4 or 6 at one visit, so we go in more often. We get the important ones but I think my babies can wait until they are 5 for vaccines that prevent sexually transmitted diseases! I might suck, but I've worked with WAY too many kids who attribute their child's Autism to vaccines. I love you though!
You make me laugh MaryBeth. I think you need to start a whole new post just about gross words... could be quite interesting.
Sorry for the not so good day and feeling sick. AMEN to Dh's who lose their wallets, mine has at least 20 times since I have known him!
And AMEN to those who do NOT immunize. I can't believe people would risk the life of their child, cause seriously if you don't immunize the crap they can get will most likely take them!
ok so not immunizing your kids is one of my biggest pet peeves. it is just plain selfish. and no it does not cause autism. .
i went to africa and saw all the people mangled with polio i assure you it exists
i mean really people
thanks for the venue to vent!
Totally cracked me up with this one MB. You rock.
The non-immunizers...man they bug me too! Can't STAND it, and just TRY to talk to them about it. The only people who bug me more than them, are the bogus scientists they quote.
Lover is only appropriate in jest...as in "my luva"...which I have used on occassion. But, never in the presence of a 3rd party.
Sorry...gotta add a new one. People who think vaccines cause autism. They are morons. I can say that because MY little girl has autism, as do 3 of my nephews.
And please vaccinate your children for Hep A & B...most people who get it have no idea where they got it. It can live on a surface for over 30 days, and can only be killed with a clorox based solution. Please feel free to delete this MB...just a rant...had to get it out after reading the other comment. Sorry.
I'm bleney* sorry your lover lost his wallet. Which reminds me I need to get G to the dr for immunizations. :O
*bleney* (Always use your word verification in your post.)
Even better, use your DH's gmail *hydron* to leave comments
I love your rants Delli!
I hate it when people bare their testimony and say ginormous.
The thing that gets me is bread (or cereal, or tomatoes, etc...) left in the kitchen sink on the non disposal side. I hate having to dig slimy things out of the sink :-S
Just to clarify (for the other concerned peps that left comments) I am NOT saying that vaccines cause Autism nor am I advocating in any way that anyone NOT vaccinate their children. Vaccines have virtually eliminated many diseases from our country and are VERY important.
I am only saying that we don't know what causes Autism and I think that parents know their kids best. Personally, I think that it may be a combination of genetic make-up and exposure to something in our environment. I am only suggesting that we make sure that we know what the additives are that are injected into our kids and educate ourselves. Knowing the brands that are used at our doctor's office and spreading them out does no harm and allows time for the body to rid itself of the chemicals and toxins that are ingredients of all shots. There is nothing wrong with making sure sure that your child is as healthy as possible when the vaccines are given so that they can have an optimal immune system. I'd rather err on the side of caution. I don't look down on parents who follow the government's schedule and give up to six shots at one time. I also have sympathy for parents who make the hard choice not to vaccinate, although I think they are doing their child (and, over time, children that they come in contact with) harm.
Also, it is true that Hep A can live outside of the body for months. Hep B can only survive for a week at the most. Either way, if a child is cared for in a home environment and is not living with someone who has one of these diseases it is highly unlikely that that child will contract these sexually transmitted diseases. As the child gets out into the world, esp. if that child is going to day care, they should be vaccinated earlier.
Sorry Marybeth for the long winded comment and for irritating your loyal readers! I thought the parents of my Autistic kids were crazy about the vaccines when they started talking about it years ago, but I have done some research and just can't discount them all together.
BTW, the worst word is Vajayjay (if that is how you spell it).
Whoops. That's more than a comment. That's a whole darn post!
Denise, it's totally fine. No worries at all!
I'm fine with a modified schedule...do your research and do it well. I just get pissed beyond belief when someone tells me they won't vaccinate because of what potentially may or may not happen, then tells me their research involves every hippy Tom, Dick, and Harry, but not any kind of government agency because we know they're all out to form an autsitic nation.
I loved your comment about immunizing! I need to almost copy and paste that onto my blog for some friends of mine from high school who don't get it. Honestly, it's the only thing that will help from there being more outbreaks.
I am so sorry to hear you've been so sick. Believe me doctors are always on my bad list. They don't care. Most of them will write out a prescription just so they can have a reason to bring you back into their office. I need to get off this frustration with doctors. Luckily Dr. Mayberry is the best I've seen, probably in my whole life.
Get well soon and Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Jess
MB, you crack me up. I agree that there are to many people that don't immunize their kids because "there isn't a problem anymore." I keep LOL at Rick trying to explain himself also.
Love your posts MB. I'd have to say that my biggest pet peeve is a mother-in-law who won't mind her friggin business and then looks down on you for not taking her advice.
