He Said She Said

So, a little over a week ago Aren had finally saved up enough money to get a hamster and since I was the idiot that said, "Save your money and you can get one," I took him to the store where Chester was purchased. You can read my thoughts HERE.

This afternoon we found out that Chester is not a he, but a she. Yup. Apparently this little hamster was never told about rodent birth control and the little hussy went and got herself knocked up and we've become the baby daddy. For the love of all that is good and holy.

Oh my gosh. Bwahahahahahahahah!!!! If she doesn't eat them all, hit me up to adopt one later. After all, I've pimped out enough cookies to owe you for that. ;)

So sorry, but that is so funny!

Call the Pet Store ASAP. Take them back. Shouldn't they have to disclose that kind of stuff? Sue, Sue I tell you. Pain and suffering and trauma. Man they are really red.

ICK! I 2nd taking them back to the pet store. It's not like she got knocked up AFTER you bought her. What does Aren think?

Speaking from experience, these things can reproduce just a few weeks after being born, and they really don't care that they're siblings. Also speaking from experience, they can get pregnant the DAY they give birth. Just sayin.

Good luck! Hahahah.

Okay, those are nasty! Otherwise, I think that is totally funny, especially considering you didn't even want the one.

I don't know how to spell "head shaking slowly back and forth". I know that I'm not supposed to laugh at this but I'm rolling on the floor.

Those are ugly and gross. Thanks for reaffirming my No way no how are we ever having a pet of any kind as long as I'm your mother policy.
Take them back.

Ha ha ha. That happened to me when I was younger. When I asked at the pet store if it was a boy or a girl, the employee said, "It will be a boy." So I named him Wilby and later had to change that to Wilbyetta. Ha.

Oh that just sucks! Kind of funny though! ;)

Be careful. That happened to me at school one time and I waited a little tiny bit too long before separating them. You guessed it. We had major incest with generation number two. That time I gave them all away (the ones that weren't eaten). Loved your description of the little rodent. VERY funny post.
